Farm Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee daily farm operations, including feed and water management, environmental control, biosecurity, and record-keeping.
• Implement and monitor breeding progam to achieve optimal hatchability and chick quality
• Manager and develop a high performing farm team
• Develop and manage farm budgets, control costs and maximize profitability
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, food safety regulations, and animal welfare guidelines.
• Identify and resolve production issues, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve farm performance.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in poultry farming, with a focus on parent stock management.
• In-depth knowledge of poultry breeding, nutrition, and health.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, farm management software).
• Willingness to relocate to different farm locations as required by business needs.
